Ready for Print

I’ve expected to make this post for a few weeks. Just as I kept thinking it was close, things dragged on. Finally though, I’m able to announce that Kim #2 is 100% complete from cover to cover. The next step is going to print. I’ll know much more about the timeframe very soon. Since it’s getting so close, expect more updates. I expect things to move faster from here. Thanks again for bearing with me. I'll do everything I can to get it out as fast as possible. In the end, it’s done. I made the book I wanted to make. It’s gory, sexy, funny, and I'm feeling pretty proud of it. I hope you dig it, hope its worth the wait. Thank you so much..
Where Things Stand

Hello everyone. This is the update I’ve been dreading. Everyone always told me as long as you update backers on a projects progress, people will be cool and understand. I definitely hope that’s true. That being said, here’s where everything stands. The book is 95% done. The original shipping date was listed as this month, January 2026. In all honesty, it’s looking much more like March 2026. In the past I said that it was slightly behind. As the project developed, I had ideas that I thought would make the book better. That and the fact that my process is crazy slow, caused a slight delay in the production. What I didn’t see coming was a case of severe pancreatitis then leading to my gallbladder being removed. I was in the hospital over the holidays for 9 days and lost 24 pounds. I literally lost a month of progress on the book. I’m only now slowly regaining my strength. The non comic book items and unlockables have been ordered. It just a matter of completing that last 5%, getting it printed and in your hands. Once again, there is nothing more important in my life then getting this done and out. Please forgive me. This was not the update I wanted to make.
Production Update and Email Heads Up

Hi Everyone. First off. If you get any updates via BackerKit, please disregard. I'm aware of at least one person getting an update link that looks like it came from BackerKit. I only do updates through Kickstarter and any update that comes labled from BackerKit is spam or phishing. Please don't open them. BackerKit has been notified.
As far as progress, I had hoped to have finished penciling early this month. I am about 3 weeks behind but completely expect all pencil production to be complete by New Years. Sanju is keeping pace on the colors and they are beautiful. All unlockables are ordered and almost all are currently in hand or arriving soon.
If there is any delay at this point, I'm expecting it to be minimal. Travel, health, weather and a bit of a story tweak are all factors and all on me. I'm home with no distractions other than my cat and I'll work every day to get this book in your hands sooner than later. It is honestly the most important thing happening in my life right now.
I'll give another update early next week with more info and images. I just wanted to get this heads up out there ASAP.

Production Update

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to send out and update. The interiors on Kim are coming along well. Though I expected to be a bit farther along, I don't see any delays at this point. Coming home from NYCC with a cold and adding a little tweak in the story slowed down progress slightly.
The book was drawn chronologically and I'm currently moving into the final sequence. I expect to be wrapping up pencils by the end of this month. Sanju is keeping pace with me and the colors look amazing. As soon as Sanju and I are finished, It will go out for letters then to print ASAP. I'm working on this everyday and wont stop till its done.
If you were looking for me this weekend, sorry, I was booked and had advertised that I'd be in New Jersey this weekend for the Vineland Comic Con. Unfortunately I won't be attending. I've decided to stay home and work.

BackerKit, Lenticular Covers and NYCC

Hi everyone. So sorry for the slow update. Things are moving along on schedule. Sanju and I are still working every day to get the final pages done and in your hands for a January 2026 release.
BackerKit is still live. 92% of the surveys are complete. If you haven't, please complete your survey. BackerKit will close on Monday, October 13th. the day after NYCC.
Two new 3D lenticular covers have been added to the BackerKit. One by Sun Khamunaki and one by Sorah Suhng. These are the fist ever Kim lenticular covers. I'd never done one but they just look too cool to not do. I couldn't choose which to do, so I went with both.
Please, if you are attending NYCC, stop by Artist Alley table L-39. I'll be there all weekend and would be happy to show you some production pages, give more insight into the project and talk everything Kim #2.
Again, thank you all so much for supporting the project. I'm giving it everything I have and promise not to disappoint. It's honestly the most important thing going on in my life.
